Pop Music on British Television 1955 - 1999

Produced by Liam Hood and directed by Brian Mahoney artists were invited into the Theatre Royal Studio of Scottish TV to present four songs from their most recent album. The fifteen minute show featured Helen Shapiro, The Alexander Brothers, Joe Brown and others. This pre-dates Colour Me Pop in showcasing pop albums rather than merely plugging the new single.
