st December 1964 - 29th July 1965 (the last known showing by Southern)

Produced by Mike Mansfield for Southern. Host Terence Carroll interviewed female pop and jazz singers on location. Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, François Hardy, Dionne Warwick, Alma Cogan among others were featured telling their life stories for the first series, all filmed on location. Clark and Hardy were filmed in Paris, while Dusty Springfield was filmed on a series of one-nighter shows. The second series sees Shaw Taylor join the show as interviewer and this time the featured singers are Marianne Faithfull, Sandie Shaw, Dana Valery, Annie Ross, Julie Rogers, Dakota Staton and Jackie Trent.

Mansfield revived the idea in 1984 for Channel 4.
