Another Mike Mansfield production for Southern. Host Terence Carroll interviewed some of the greatest women singers of their generation Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Françoise Hardy, Dionne Warwick, Annie Ross, Alma Cogan among others.

All the shows were filmed on location, with Clark and Hardy in Paris, Dakota Staton sight-seeing in London, while Dusty Springfield was filmed on a series of one-nighter shows in the UK. It was also shown by Anglia and TWW after the Southern run had ended.

A promotional party was held on 13th August 1965 at Nightingale's restaurant in Berkeley Square, London to help promote the second series and was attended by three of the show's subjects, Dana Valery, Sandie Shaw and Marianne Faithfull. However, this second series had already finished playing on Southern by the time of the 'launch'. Shaw Taylor joined the show as interviewer for this second and final Southern series. Mansfield would revive the format in 1984 for Channel 4.
