Pop Music on British Television 1955 - 1999

A ten minute filler show which highlighted one act per week, performing usually three songs plus a quick verbal resume and produced by Thank Your Lucky Stars regular Mark Stuart which accounts for it's visual similarity. The show probably took its name from a similar-sounding short-lived insert in Lucky Stars (Summer Spin) in summer 1964.

Many chart regulars like The Migil Five, Manfred Mann, The Honeycombs, The Bachelors, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Brian Poole and the Tremeloes, The Fourmost, Dave Clark Five, Adam Faith and the Roulettes, Kenny Lynch, Dusty Springfield, The Merseybeats and The Searchers made appearances.

Surprisingly, most of the shows seem to exist.
