Pop Music on British Television 1955 - 1999

Hosted by Raymond Boyd the show invited pop stars visiting Aberdeen, and became of the long lost shows of the time like Discs-A-Gogo.

The musical guests were mainly an excuse to get the audience dancing, very much like American Bandstand, which Discs-A-Gogo was successfully doing the other end of the country. The show also doubled up as a dance contest between youth clubs.

The musical director was George Keenan who also had a career recording more traditional Scottish dance music.
