A short-lived filler show, replacing Rediffusion's talent show Search For A Star, hosted by Daniel Farson and Anne Nightingale. Viewers would write in to request a song, an artist or group and, according to Disc "may feature any type of artists - from The Beatles to Jesse Matthews. Requests may be illustrated by film clips depicting pop stars".

There were singers or groups on each show and on one occasion The Who made a very early appearance as did the Yardbirds.

Anne Nightingale had been a journalist and band manager in Brighton and backstage at a Dusty Springfield show she was introduced to Vicki Wickham who would suggest Rediffusion give her a test to present a new show. Ahead of the show's debut she appeared a few times on Ready Steady Go, including a commere job at the Glad Rag Ball. Nightinagle suggested in Andy Neill's book on Ready Steady Go that her co-presenter Daniel Farson preferred established entertainers while Nightingale wanted newer acts on the show, not only conflicting with her co-star, but possibly treading on the toes of RSG.
