Current pop stars are interviewed in a mock press conference hosted by Alan Freeman, with Gerry and the Pacemakers, Joe Brown and his Bruvvers, Kenny Ball and his Jazzband and The Ronettes among the acts interviewed. Each week they get to perform one number. The Ronettes performed Baby I Love You on barstools on one corner of the set. The show was the product of two Ready Steady Go regulars Elkan Allan and Franis Hitchen.
